TAAC Nominations Begin Tomorrow!

Dear Alumni,

On October 26th the TAAC announced a significant change in the bylaws of the Troopers Alumni Association. There will no longer be dues to belong to the TAA. The only requirement for membership is to have marched with the Troopers. Now, we are all members, no dues.

Included with this, we announced the TAAC elections would be starting November 1st with the opening of nominations. The bylaws state that any and all alumni are eligible to be nominated for one of these leadership positions in our continuation of the Long Blue Line ideals. Each and every alumni member is eligible to vote for these positions. There are 4 to 6 openings on the committee, 6 would give us a committee of 10.

Nominations will be from November 1st through midnight November 15th. Balloting will be done on the Troopers Alumni Website starting at midnight November 16th, and end midnight November 26th. The election results will be posted on or before December 1st.

This is your opportunity to be a part of this productive and growing organization. We have made great strides with what we have accomplished this last year, and look to grow at even a faster pace in the future. The TAAC needs your help and ideas to make this possible. The only requirement is to have the desire to help the Troopers, and two years of your time.
