Nominations now open for 2022 Troopers Hall of Fame

Founded more than six decades ago, Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps has built a rich legacy of culture, education, and excellence. Along the way, we’ve often led the charge in advancing the drum corps activity, from being among the first to march co-ed playing lines to inaugurating the concept of national touring.

Since 2015, the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps Hall of Fame (HOF) has annually recognized individuals for contributions to our long-standing mission of providing “a youth activity with positive educational experiences that promotes the growth and development of specific life skills consistent with the Trooper Tradition of Excellence."

That mission and our accomplishments would not be possible without the support and hard work of dedicated volunteers, staff, and other key roles. The Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps Hall of Fame (HOF) program is now ready to consider a new class of individuals deserving of recognition for their distinguished service.

Nominations for our 2022 Hall of Fame inductees are now open. The nominating period will run this year from March 15 through April 15. Nominations must be made in writing and may be submitted via email. Information about the nomination categories, the submission requirements and more may be found on our Hall of Fame page at www.troopersdrumcorps.org/hall-of-fame

The Troopers Alumni leadership – recently renamed – Sabers Circle Leadership Team – will review the applications and The Troopers will present the yearly class of HOF inductees at a special ceremony in Casper, WY, at a time and place to be determined based on the Troopers’ schedule. For 2022, tentative HOF presentation planning now centers around the Drums Along the Rockies activities in July.

Nominations for 2022 are due before April 15. Nominations must include all details requested in the nomination description along with letters of support. Documents should be submitted via email to alumni@troopersdrumcorps.org

Questions about the HOF or the process may be addressed to Lee Engle via email at lee.engle@hotmail.com or by cell phone at (307) 263-8042.
